“It makes the party look like it isn’t a modern party,” Rudy Giuliani told CNN’s Erin Burnett, fretting about the candidates’ Cotton Mather attitude about women and gays. “It doesn’t understand the modern world that we live in.”

The Ghastly, Frighteningly, Awfully, Ridiculously ,Outdated Unelectable Party

The Republicans are going to have to restructure altogether after the Presidential Election. To appeal to the minority of voters who take part in the primaries…. the candidates are having to appeal to the tea party nitwits. What the party doesn’t seem to understand is that if you appeal to these nitwits…you  are losing the vote of the entire middle ground.  And without the middle ground, you are not going to win the election. The sensible Republicans should hate the kooky right wing that is preventing them from reaching national office.

Of course we would still have to look past the fact that the Republicans in the legislative branch have been behaving like a bunch of small children who would rather break their toys than share them -during the biggest economic crisis since the early 1930s.
